How do I install .jad or .jar files on my blackberry?

The problem is that most people download these on their computers and expect to load it onto their blackberrys through the desktop manager.
Don’t do this.
Browse straight to the download link from your blackberry and download it there. The file should automatically load on your blackberry.

If you don’t have a Data plan, then, copy the JAR file to a MicroSD card, navigate to the sd card via explore in the media menu and navigate to wherever you saved it. Voilla

    should be simple
*copy to directory on BB from pc, using file manager
*on BB start media application, use menu key and select “SEARCH”, browse to jar/jad file (u need both to be on BB)
*select file and u will be prompted for “download”-> download will install file
*to later uninstall go to options, advanced options, applications, highlight app and select delete

What if you do not have a SD card on the device (my case with a 7290) and do not have a data plan ?
